We are removing the barriers to success our kids are facing right now.
Our Mission
Is to meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the at-risk youth of North Idaho in order to help them become positive influences on their peers, successful adults and contributing members of their community.
How do we make an impact?
Mentoring
Mentoring plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting individuals, especially youth, as they navigate various challenges and opportunities in life. A mentor serves as a trusted advisor, offering valuable insights, encouragement, and constructive feedback to help their mentees develop essential skills and achieve their goals. Through regular interactions and guidance, mentors can make a positive impact on a young person's personal growth, academic success, and overall well-being. Mentoring relationships often lead to long-lasting connections and empower youth to thrive in their communities.
We provide a gift card to the mentor at the time they are matched with their mentee to help with any bigger immediate needs that the mentor finds out about during the early stages of their match.
We provide ongoing support to each mentor match to help that relationship be as successful as possible.
301 Ministries
301 is a weekly group that meets at Skate Plaza Roller Rink in CDA (unless we’re on a field trip!), and focuses on working through and overcoming the barriers to success our communities’ struggling youth are facing. We hang out, share a meal and participate in a group discussion or activity designed to help everyone grow into successful, law-abiding, contributing members of society.
Volunteer adult leaders help to facilitate the group and provide correction where needed.
Provide a meal for 301: We serve the youth and adults a meal every week, and we need folks to help us reduce costs by providing a meal each week. That could be you!
Juvenile Detention Chaplain Program
The Juvenile Detention Chaplain Program is a dedicated team of chaplains committed to providing spiritual and emotional support to youth in detention. These chaplains offer a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and a non-judgmental presence, helping young individuals navigate the challenges they face during their time in custody.
By offering religious services, counseling, and mentorship, the chaplains strive to create a supportive environment where juveniles can find solace, guidance, and encouragement. Their presence not only addresses the spiritual needs of the youth but also contributes to their overall rehabilitation and well-being. Through their commitment to serving the emotional and spiritual needs of juvenile detainees, the Juvenile Detention Center Chaplains play a vital role for the youth in the juvenile justice system.
Youth Scholarships
Many of the quality youth programs in our area require funding in order to attend. We provide the necessary funding so the struggling youth in the juvenile justice system can take advantage of these incredible opportunities. These programs include: Equine Therapy, Juvenile Probation Golf Academy (through First Tee Idaho), Idaho Youth Challenge Academy, and more.
-
Stocking fridges and pantries
We fill the empty pantries and fridges of the struggling youth and their families in our community.
-
Counseling scholarships
Counseling and therapy can be a vital part of a struggling youth’s restoration, but can also be out of reach financially. We provide scholarships to get the youth the help they need.
-
Funds for positive outlets
We help struggling youth get access to positive outlets like fitness, sports and art programs.

Out of the box help
Sometimes we come across a unique need that doesn’t fit into a neat category. We evaluate these needs and think outside of the box to help them get filled.
