Our Founder
Jeff Cheeseborough
Jeff founded JJO in 1997 and served as its Executive Director until he joined our Father in Heaven in June of 2020.
No one had a bigger heart for the youth in North Idaho than Jeff, and he impacted thousands with his infectious, relentless positivity and encouragement. There will never be another like Jeff. We miss you brother!

Board of Directors
Our board is comprised of committed Christians dedicated to providing encouragement, support and spiritual guidance to the at-risk youth in our community.
Jackson Lanterman
A husband and father of three, Jackson has an evangelistic heart and has worked with youth in various capacities for most of his adult life.
Amelia Kirk
A wife and mother, Amelia is our Community Outreach Coordinator, and works to broaden our base of support and raise community awareness.
Steve Shortridge
The longest tenured board member, Steve is a longtime North Idaho resident and artist.
Laura Cheeseborough
The widow of our late Founder Jeff, Laura has a wealth of JJO knowledge and continues to serve as our bookkeeper.
Dave Hoit
Dave is a husband and father of five and worked alongside Jeff for many years.
